Cashmere Cricket’s Sister Location

Established in 2011, this award winning local cocktail lounge has been established as a staple - Award Winning Best Martini FOUR Years in a row with a number of other accolades - this was the foundation of this next chapter. Under new ownership in August of 2021, long term employee Mitchell Pachta purchased the establishment, and never looked back.

Over the last years I’ve been tolerated by some of the most kind, patient, encouraging individuals I have crossed paths with in this industry.

Vacancy is my first ground up project, I took this building from studs and structure into what you see today. Every single detail was planned and thought out at all hours of the night. I hope my lack of sleep doesn’t go unnoticed - Cheers

Why?

After COVID we were determined to bounce back with new ideas and innovations to show everyone that we weren’t just taking some time off, we were getting better.

We took a step back and looked at our patronage and what Downtown Cuyahoga Falls has done to bring so much night life to Front Street and we saw a gap. Being on a two hour wait on a Friday or Saturday Night wasn’t unusual, but how could we mold into keeping the same guests without turning them away from lack of space.

Welcome - a two floor hybrid concept - a sports bar upstairs/with live odds boards and sports tickers that update every 3 seconds to Fanduel, ESPN, etc, with Touch Tunes and TV’s, and a complete 180 downstairs. An ambient speakeasy, with handcrafted cocktails, a menu that takes four days to prep, and an espresso martini list to die for. The dim lights and attention to every detail from cocktail to chairs - we hope you share the same vision we do when you think of a perfect cocktail
